The Criminal Investigation Division is charged with the investigative and follow-up responsibilities of specific criminal action, which has occurred within the jurisdiction of the Sheriff’s Department.

The Captain who administratively reports to the Assistant Sheriff of Investigations/communications commands the division.   The Lieutenant is charged with the execution of the day-to-day operations within the divisional investigative details; each supervised by a Sergeant.  Please click the navigational tool bar to the left for information about any of the CID details.
