Serial Killer Update

An unidentified serial killer preyed upon several California communities from 1976 to 1986, murdering twelve people. These crimes spanned several counties and involved numerous law enforcement jurisdictions. DNA links several of these murders to a Northern California rapist known as the East Area Rapist; the killer/rapist’s Method of Operation links him to additional rapes, attacks and murders. The suspect is believed to be responsible for more than 50 attacks and rapes and at least twelve murders. The suspect may be responsible for additional murders and attacks presently under investigation.
