On Monday, January 28, Class 205 of the Orange County Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy had their first inspection. The 74 recruits, 13 of whom are female, participated in two weeks of pre-academy activities prior to their first full stress day of the academy known as "Black Monday." At the end of their training, the recruits will have completed 954 hours and 25 weeks of academy training.
