    Emerging Drug Trends Presentation August 29

    The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is hosting multiple public presentations throughout the county covering the most up-to-date drug trends involving adolescents. This training has been presented across the nation to educators, other law enforcement agencies, health care professionals, and parents. The presentations are open to the public and
    will be given by Drug Liaison Deputies representing your community. Topics Include
    • Recognizing the signs of at-risk behavior in your child
    • Recognizing the newest drug and substance found
    in schools
    • How to identify the different adolescent subcultures
    • Understanding what your children are exposed to on
    the internet and the risks involved with the social
    networking application they are using
    • Law Enforcement’s approach to juvenile violators
    • Resources available to families
